Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is seen nowhere these days. After the elections, he only attended the Assembly for one day and did not even participate in the debates.
He is confined only to his Erravelli Farmhouse and is trying to run the show only through KTR and Harish Rao.

After the elections, Kavitha got arrested. KCR barely made any comment about it in the public domain and did not even go to Delhi to meet her in jail.
Kavitha was released from jail and the issue is now closed.

Meanwhile, the Khammam district of Telangana is the worst affected due to floods.
KCR did not visit the victims even during the calamity. The party did not even announce any donations for the affected people.

Harish Rao and some BRS leaders visited the district one day and later returned to Hyderabad. Congress alleges that KTR is in the United States. He is playing the Opposition role only using his X account.
BRS has always been weak in the Khammam district since its inception. Things did not change even after the bifurcation.
Khammam has a strong influence of Andhra Politics and so, BRS was weak here for many years.
In 2014, the party drew a blank here. In the 2018 elections, BRS won only one seat in the ten seats in the district. In the most recent election, the party won a lone seat in Bhadrachalam district and the MLA already joined Congress.
It appears like KCR is in no mood to excuse the people of Khammam and so bucked them even in this time of calamity.
