KBR Park is all set to lose 1,900 of its large and small trees located inside and around the park. This is to faciliate the construction of flyovers around the park for smooth flow of traffic to and from the IT and financial districts into the city as part of the SRDP. KBR Park is a nation park and it can not be touched without permission from the Union ministry of environment and forests.

But the state government and the corporation are confident of getting the necessary permissions. Maharaja Agrasen junction, Film Nagar junction, Jubilee Hills checkpost, Ayyappa Society, Mind Space junction, Malaysian Township junction and LB Nagar junction are the other areas where trees have to be cut down.
