Key Takeaways: Nadendla On Power Sharing

Nadendla-Manohar-Seat-Sharing-JanaSena

The other day, Nara Lokesh in an interview clarified that Chandrababu Naidu will be the Chief Minister Candidate and there is absolute clarity about it in TDP and as well as Janasena.

“Babu garu will be the CM. Pawan Kalyan garu many times mentioned the need for effective and experienced leadership. So, there is no ambiguity in that subject,” Lokesh told.

A section of Janasena supporters who have pinned extravagant hopes even to the extent of CM Seat-sharing were obviously disappointed. They were seen ranting on Social Media about this and the alliance.

Nadendla Manohar was asked about this in a meeting in Mangalagiri and he chose to respond to it carefully.

“I did not see the video yet. I take that because you are saying. As a part of the alliance, there should be mutual respect. Some policies, some ideas should be taken with leaders of both sides sitting in a legislative meeting at an appropriate time,” Nadendla Manohar said.

While he did not respond to it straightly, it is clear that Manohar did not condemn the statement of Lokesh but only had an issue with the timing.

Probably, Manohar and Pawan Kalyan want it to be delayed until after the elections so there is no pressure from the Janasena cadre.

Also, they may want to fancy their chances after the elections if such a scenario of Janasena playing a crucial role arrives.

The mention of ‘Legislative Meeting’ itself indicates that it is a decision after the elections.

But on the part of the Telugu Desam Party, it is always right to set the correct expectations to avoid over-excitement and last-minute disappointments.
