KTR reacted sharply after receiving summons in the phone tapping case. He said the issue was being run like a daily serial, comparing it to Karthika Deepam. He sarcastically claimed the SIT acts only on the instructions of Revanth Reddy.
Questioning the investigation, KTR asked whether officials could swear that his phone was not being tapped even now. He then shifted focus to the cash for vote case. He argued that politicians cannot be blamed if police were already monitoring those attempting to buy MLAs.
KTR stated that BRS has become a common target for both BJP and the Congress. He said both parties were trying to weaken BRS politically. According to him, coordinated pressure was being built through repeated allegations.
He further alleged that whenever Revanth Reddy fails to explain his six guarantees and 420 promises, old issues are revived. He listed the Kaleswaram issue, phone tapping issue, sheep issue, and Formula e-racing issue. He described this as pure diversion politics during a meeting on Wednesday.
