KTR Quash Petition – Potential Political Ramifications

BRS, the most active leader from the party who is leading the front, KTR, is facing a corruption case. A quash petition was filed in the Formula E race case, which is set to be heard on Tuesday.

There are several possible scenarios. If the quash petition filed by KTR is dismissed, it likely means there is no case. In that situation, the ACB, which filed the case, might directly approach the Supreme Court to challenge the High Court’s judgment.

Another possible scenario is if the High Court dismisses the quash petition, KTR himself could approach the Supreme court, alleging that the ACB filed the case against him intentionally, and request the Supreme Court for relief from the entire case. In this case, he would seek higher protection from the Supreme Court to prevent his arrest.

The final scenario could be that the High Court dismisses the quash petition, but KTR’s lawyers might request the High Court to suspend the order for a certain period, essentially seeking a legal cover to approach Supreme court.

Two other individuals arrested in this case have not filed crash petitions and have been asked to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on January 8th and 9th. It is known that ED has also summoned KTR to appear before the agency on January 7th but he has requested for more time.

There is likely to be high-tension drama unfolding either way when this case is heard in the Telangana High Court on Tuesday.
