KTR said that in the coming 20 years, India will not be ruled by any single major national or regional party. According to him, the future will belong to regional and secular parties rather than large national parties.
He stressed that the BRS will play an important role in Delhi politics. KTR added that the next Central government will likely be formed by a coalition of progressive forces.
Political observers are surprised by his confidence, especially since the BRS failed to win even one Lok Sabha seat in 2024. Though the party ruled Telangana for a decade and claims credit for transforming Hyderabad and the state, voters did not give them support in the recent election.
Analysts say KTR and his party appear to be dreaming big despite having no presence in the Lok Sabha. However, BRS members argue that politics is unpredictable and anything can change.
