Revanth Reddy Is Like Emperor Nero

KTR criticises Revanth Reddy floods

BRS working president KTR has levelled strong allegations against Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. He said that while people are suffering due to floods, the CM is busy discussing Musi beautification and even pitching the idea of hosting the 2036 Olympics in Telangana.

KTR compared the CM to emperor Nero, alleging he was ignoring the crisis. He questioned if this was the right time to speak about beautification and Olympics when property, crops, and lives have been lost. He demanded that the CM focus on assessing damages and providing relief.

Recalling past efforts, KTR said that during KCR’s tenure, helicopters were sent to Manchiryal and Bhupalapally for flood rescues. He alleged that this time, state helicopters are flying in Bihar and elsewhere instead of helping flood-hit areas in Telangana.

He highlighted that women were stranded in Khammam despite three ministers representing the district. In Narmala, he said, only a Navy helicopter reached recently to rescue people. According to KTR, no proper action has been taken by the government.

KTR demanded compensation of Rs 25,000 per acre for farmers who lost crops and Rs 25 lakh to families who lost members. He also sought the construction of Indiramma indlu for those who lost their homes.
