Lady addicted to mobile cuts hubby’s fingers

Sunitha Singh and Chandraprakash Singh from Bihar are married for seven years and are residing in Bengaluru for the last three years, working for different IT companies. Sunitha recently quit her job and is staying at home in Kaikondanahalli near HSR Layout, a locality favoured by IT professionals in Bengaluru.

On May 4th, Chandraprakash took the lady’s phone and tried to check in to her messages. Enraged with his act, Sunitha entered in to a fight with her husband. Later she brought a knife from kitchen and attacked her husband. She slashed his fingers, leading to severe injuries. Both of them lodged complaints on each other at Local Police station.

The husband alleged that his wife is addicted to her mobile phone and this had led to frequent quarrels between them. She was not even cooking food and is ordering it online as she was busy with the phone. The Police have registered a case and a probe is on. They also summoned the parents of the couple to solve the dispute amicably.
