Land Acquisition in Capital Villages on the way

The farmers who have not given their lands in land pooling will now have to go for Land Acquisition very soon. CRDA is busy in the Social Impact Assessment in the notified villages. The complete exercise will be finished by next month end. Some of the farmers have agreed to participate in pooling but did not surrender the lands to the CRDA.

There are 1500-2000 acres of such. These farmers will also be added to Land Acquisition. As Modi’s government could not bring in the New Land Acquisition Act, Land Acquisition will be very expensive for the state as the government had to compensate according to the 2013 Land Acquisition Act.

Once the Social Impact Assessment is complete, the Land Acquisition notification will be given. The state government is also allowing farmers to give their lands in Land Pooling until the notification for the Land Acquisition is given. CRDA will arrange meetings in all the villages to educate the farmers.
