Ever since the Congress party came into power, various former BRS MLAs and Ministers landed in legal trouble for their alleged misuse of power.
The latest entrant to the list is former Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. A land-grabbing case was filed against Dayakar Rao at the Jubilee Hills Police Station. He is the first former Minister to get accused in a land-grabbing case.
An individual named Sharan Chowdary filed a complaint stating that Errabelli and former Task Force DCP Radha Kishan Rao had allegedly extorted Rs 50 lakhs from him and also tried to grab his house.
He said that he was under Errabelli and Radha Kishan’s capture for three days and they had released him only after receiving Rs. 50 lakhs.
Reportedly, Sharan met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently and informed the issue. Upon Revanth’s suggestion, Sharan filed a complaint with the police. The cops have registered the case and are investigating the matter.
