After getting dropped from the cabinet, Etela Rajender came before the media and made critical comments about Chief Minister KCR. “I worked with KCR for 19 years and gave everything for the Telangana cause and the party. I resigned in 2008 when party insisted,” Etela said.
“There is a planned attack on me. Vigilance, ACB, and Revenue departments are after me. These things are not to the level of KCR. I did not do a single rupee business ever since I started working with KCR. I will approach the court and I am ready for any punishment if I am proven wrong,” Etela added.
“How is the link road to your farmhouse constructed? Did you not construct it through assigned lands? Collectors are giving reports against me just because you asked them to. My explanation is not even taken,” Etela made a shocking accusation on the Chief Minister.
According to the law, assigned lands (lands given to SC, ST farmers by the Government) can not be sold by anyone. Governments can only acquire them for legit reasons. If anyone buys or takeover such lands, it amounts to land grabbing and such persons are liable for criminal prosecution.
