
The situation in BRS party is real bad. At a time when the party leaders must be motivating the cadre for upcoming local polls, they are running scared of the developments in various cases.
Especially, the phone tapping case has left the BRS leaders worried about the outcome of the proceedings. They are in a fix about deciding between preparing for local body polls or squeezing themselves out of the cases slapped on them.

KCR and ex minister Harish Rao have been interrogated in Kaleshwaram case. BRS working president KTR is facing probe in Formula e-racing case. KTR is likely to be called once again next week. He has also been asked to surrender his phone regarding the case.
Already, CM Revanth Reddy has said that the minutes of the Cabinet are different from what KCR, Harish Rao told the PC Ghose Commission. It is indicating that KCR and Harish Rao have lied. So, there is apprehension over the outcome of Kaleshwaram probe.

The lower-rung leaders and cadre are worried about the developments. There are complaints that the top order in BRS have failed in bringing up people’s issues and questioning the implementation of six poll promises by the Congress government.
At a time when they should be questioning the government about the implementation of BC reservation and put pressure on the Center to take up caste census along with population census, the BRS top brass is busy with inquiries over scams.

There is talk within BRS that the top leaders are being content by showing their strength and boasting of victory, instead of going into people, say political analysts.
Last month, in May, the party was supposed to take up membership drive. They were supposed to organise village, mandal and district committees. They were also supposed to organise at least one special event to mark the silver jubilee of the party.
But none of this happened as the leaders are busy with cases. It remains to be seen how the party will be steered forward jumping over the hurdles.
