
Once again, it’s time for giving away house pattas in Mangalagiri. As a part of ‘Mana Illu, Mana Lokesh’ programme, permanent pattas are being given to 2500 people, soon.
After briefing about it, Lokesh directed the officers to focus on various issues like underground drainage, storm water drains, drinking water, underground gas and proposed power project works in Mangalagiri.
In April, 3000 pattas were given away by Minister Nara Lokesh. The pattas are given to those who have been living on government lands for many years in Mangalagiri as a part of Lokesh’s poll promise.
Lokesh held a review of the developmental programmes taken up in Mangalagiri constituency during the meeting. He instructed the officers to complete the proposed works by August, all at a time.
He also discussed about the Mangalagiri Panakala Lakshminarasimhaswamy temple works. He asked for finalizing the designs for the temple’s development.
Lokesh also directed the officers to take up the PM Surya Ghar programme in the constituency. The officers shared they received 37,000 applications. Lokesh also asked the officials to start road work on Guntur-Tenali-Narakodur stretch.
The officials updated him that the works will begin in November. He reviewed the proposal and discussed about the Guntur-Bapatla highway.
Chinakakani IT Park, development of Nidamaru government school as model school, weavers’ community in Mangalagiri, parks and traffic regulation were among the issues discussed by the Minister.
Lokesh also discussed about social welfare hostels in Penubaka, Mangalagiri and Duggirala and development of community halls across Mangalagiri. Lokesh also deliberated about Anganwadi centres.
