An increasing number of minor girls are engaging in acts that not only bring shame to their families but also jeopardize their futures. One such disturbing incident recently came to light in Film Nagar.
A 16-year-old girl from Mahbubnagar had run away from home a year ago to escape a marriage arranged by her parents. She eventually found work as a receptionist at a software company in Hyderabad.
Though the full details remain unclear, it was discovered that she was living with a 19-year-old boy. The boy, employed as a delivery person, and the girl had been cohabiting in a rented accommodation within the jurisdiction of Film Nagar police station.
The girl had misled her parents, telling them that she was residing in a hostel. However, things took a troubling turn when the boy began physically abusing her. Seeking help, the girl decided to come clean to her parents about her situation.
Upon learning the truth, the girl shared her whereabouts, and her parents immediately set out to find her. They filed a complaint with the Film Nagar police, accusing the boy of luring a minor into a relationship.
The police are currently investigating the case.
