Prime Minister Naredra Modi is coming down to the cyclone hit Vishakapatnam on Tuesday. He will directly take stock of the situation and assess the impact of Hudhud in the region. He will interact with the affected people as well. The Prime Minister is constantly in touch with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and offered him all sorts of help. Modi has postponed his two-day visit to Varanasi, his first visit to his Lok Sabha constituency as Prime Minister and will be visiting Vishakapatnam instead.
Modi also pressed Vishakapatnam MP and the state BJP President, Haribabu in to action. Haribabu met Chandrababu Naidu a short while ago and called for the local BJP cadre to help in clearing blocked roads. Andhra Pradesh government has requested 2000 Crore help from the Central government for the relief work. Modi may well make an announcement regarding the help.
