Naidu provides more relief to land losing farmers

Chandrababu naidu land issueAndhra Pradesh government has intensified its efforts for the first phase land pooling which will be covering 29 villages of Guntur district. Among the popular demands, the land losing farmers are demanding 200 square yard of land in the commercial zone of the capital in addition to the 1,000 square yard residential plots they are being offered for every acre they surrender.

It is said that Chandrababu Naidu has taken a decision in favour of this demand as this will lure the farmers of the 5-6 villages who are initially hesitant to surrender lands to the upcoming capital. An announcement regarding this is expected to come once the Chief Minister is back to the state from his Singapore tour.

But such a relaxation to 21,000 farmers or land owners will cost over Rs 400 crore. Chandrababu is expected to interact directly with the farmers regarding all the benefits of surrendering lands to the government and convince them.
