Naidu’s one more ‘Power’ milestone

While Telangana government is busy with toiling under severe power problems and blaming Chandrababu for its problems, Andhra Pradesh is making fast inroads in to achieving stability. There are reports that Power Finance Corporation may extend a Rs 15,000-crore loan to the Andhra Pradesh government to improve power sector infrastructure facilities.The loan will be granted for a two-year period. Rs 7,000 crore will be extended as loan towards transmission, while distribution and power generation wings would get Rs 5,000 crore and Rs 3,000 crore, respectively.

These funds will make sure Andhra Pradesh government provides high quality, reliable and adequate power to the public. It is known that Andhra Pradesh government is selected for the 24 Hours Power Supply by the Central government. The service began from October 2nd as a pilot project in selected areas of the state and will be extended to all the areas very soon. However many areas of the state are already having 24 hours due to commendable foresight by the government.
