When TDP was facing almost existential crisis before 2024, Lokesh never lost his fighting spirit, and enlightened the working leadership. Nevertheless, the historic Yuvagalam changed the title completely for TDP.

After having successfully completing his earlier missions within the party ranks, Lokesh has now received a significant pat on the back as he’s appointed as the new national working president of TDP.

This was communicated by the Telugu Desam party high command earlier this morning and it could prove to be one of the most consequential political movements at the party level.

Chandrababu will continue to be the national president and he will have his son Lokesh assist him henceforth. But this must not be too much of a challenge for Lokesh, considering that he had already handled the cadre and working leadership roles very efficiently.

Parallelly, the Telugu Desam party has announced 29 politburo members and 31 national level leaders, along with 185 state level leadership members. The party is currently orchestrating a shift in power dynamic within its ranks.
