BJP High Command seem to be trying to mend relations with its ally, Telugu Desam Party. After a very sore relationship between both the sides following center’s apathy towards the state, Modi team is reportedly planning to give one more Cabinet berth to TDP. All the regional media houses have started reporting the news.

Reports are emerging that Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana or Kakinada MP Thota Narasimham may get this berth. The cabinet expansion may take place this month end. If the news happens to be true, this will be the third Cabinet berth for TDP. Already there is Ashok Gajapathi Raju with cabinet rank and Sujana Chowdary with an MOS rank.
However this ‘Najarana’ will also have its share of problems for TDP. Opposition will get a chance to criticise TDP is continuing in NDA for cabinet berth despite the center not giving any thing to the state. Such remarks can be repelled only if the new cabinet berth is that of a plum post.
