Never Promised Liquor Prohibition: YCP Minister

It looks like YSR Congress is going to change word on Liquor Prohibition. Recently the party had changed ‘Madhya Nishedham’ in Navaratnalu logo to ‘Madhya Niyantrana’.

Now, the party had started telling that it has never promised Liquor Prohibition. Minister Gudivada Amar had made such comments.

“There is no liquor Prohibition in YSR Congress manifesto. We only said we will control liquor. We only promised to increase Liquor rates on par with five-star hotels,” he said.

“We will take liquor rates to five-star hotels level and will ensure a shock to anyone who wants to buy liquor. We are doing what we have promised before the elections. You can see the rates,” he added.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy previously announced that he would not ask for votes in 2024 if he do not bring Prohibition by 2024. Going by what Amar says, those words are forgotten and this is the new stand of YSR Congress.
