The authorities of Parapanna Agrahara Central prison, Bangalore which currently jailed former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa have declared that no VIP treatment is given to her and is treated equal as remaining prisoners of the jail. It is told that Jayalalithaa is being courteous to the jail officials and has not demanded any thing luxury except an iron cot as recommended by the doctors.
Since she is short term prisoner, she is allowed to wear her own garments. She is making comfortable with sarees and is not using any cosmetics too. Jayalalithaa’s close aide Sasikala and Elavarasi, the latter’s relative who are also housed in the same barrack are attending her and taking good care. She is waking up early in the morning and is taking a troll around the jail for about 30 minutes. After that she reads Tamil and English Newspapers daily which are brought through her visitors. The case hearing is posted to October 7th in the recent hearing.
