Kodali Nani is one of the overtly aggressive leaders in YSRCP. He has now been sentenced to a nonbailable warrant along with another former YCP minister Kolusu Parthasarathi and then-YCP leader Vangaveeti Radha.
Going into the story, Nani, Parthasarathi and Radha had held a protest at Pundit Nehru Bus stand on 29 August 2015 demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh. This was a law and order issue then.
Krishnalanka police had filed multiple IPC sections against them back then. The cases were filed against these three and also 52 others.
The special court for public representatives had ordered these individuals to appear in front of the court but they didn’t. So, judge Gayatri Devi passed a nonbailable warrant against the individuals effective immediately.
Nani, Radha, and Minister Parthasarathi had completely ignored the court order and didn’t attend the hearings, as a result of which they’re handed a non bailable warrant now. The next hearing has been postponed to the 25th of this month.
