KCR-RS-Praveen-Kumar

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) decided to join hands with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. Telangana BSP president RS Praveen Kumar met BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao this afternoon in Hyderabad.

After their meeting, the duo spoke to the media and announced their alliance. It is heard that Praveen Kumar will contest from Nagarkurnool constituency with BRS’s support in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

KCR stated that they will share seats as a part of the alliance and will announce more about them in the coming days.

When BRS was in rule, Praveen Kumar severely criticised the party for its governance. He also contested against the party from Sirpur constituency in the recently held Assembly elections. But he lost to BJP’s Palvai Harish Babu.

For the last few weeks, it was rumoured that BRS will join hands with BJP. But the alliance with BSP came as a surprise. However, people on social media opined that this alliance wouldn’t make any big difference in the elections.
