We have seen Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan starting his Special Status Campaign from a Public Meeting in Anantapur. He even announced contesting from the district in the next election. Now, Jagan Mohan Reddy also shifted his focus on to Anantapur, the stronghold of TDP.

The district is likely the starting point of YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s proposed padayatra. As per the astrologers, South-West corner plays a key role in the success and Madakasira segment is located in the southwest corner of the state.
So, Jagan will begin his Padayatra from there. Earlier YSR and Chandrababu Naidu also launched most of the programs were launched from the South-West corner of the state. Chandrababu Naidu too, launched his 2000-km padayatra from Anantapur district and successfully completed it.
