Self-proclaimed Kapu activist Mudragada Padmanabham joined the YSR Congress the other day. He addressed a Pressmeet today and bashed Pawan Kalyan on expected lines.
“He may be a hero in films but I am a hero in politics. He asked me to join Janasena but I refused because he could not even get 70-80 seats. At least he should have got two years of CM post,” Mudragada said.
Mudragada is being criticized for this double-tongue talk. He did not join Janasena because Pawan Kalyan did not agree to give two seats to him. Calling himself a Kapu crusader, Mudragada tried to belittle Pawan Kalyan to please his new master, Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Meanwhile, he also buried the Kapu Reservations issue down the ground forever.
When the media asked if he raked the Kapu Reservations issue, he responded in negative.
“I did not talk about anything. I clearly told you I joined the party unconditionally. I do not work for my caste. I work for my Vargam. Only 5% Kapu people and that too the poor supported me in my political career. I am what I am today because of the BCs and Dalits,” Mudragada clearly said.
