After a tough battle that lasted more than a decade, Pawan Kalyan was able to finally taste success in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh election. He did not just win as an MLA from Pithapuram, but even became the deputy CM.
It appears that Kalyan is already looking at national politics aspirations and this was evident at his national level interaction with Janasena leaders in Delhi a couple of days ago.
The fact that Kalyan made tall comments like putting the nation beyond all aspirations, including the state politics could be an indication that he really is fancying his chances at the central level.
If Pawan Kalyan really is serious about this aspect of national politics, then things could be getting very interesting in the days to follow.
Kalyan has just tested success at the state level and is currently operating as the deputy chief minister, and it should be really ambitious to go after national politics at this point in time.
But the positive thing for Kalyan is that he has the blessings of BJP top leadership who appear to be rating him very highly. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very appreciative of him.
So the decision will ultimately depend on the sensibilities of Pawan Kalyan at the political level, and we have to see where his ambitious approach would land him in the national atmosphere.
