Janasena President Pawan Kalyan, the other day, made some interesting comments on Pitapuram, the constituency from where he is contesting. Vanga Geetha is his rival from the YSR Congress.
Speaking at a Janasena meeting, Pawan Kalyan said, “Vanga Geetha came into politics because of us (Praja Rajyam) only in 2009. Unfortunately, she is in YSR Congress now. I wholeheartedly wish her to leave YSR Congress and join Janasena in future”.
Vanga Geetha reacted to that sharply.
“We are contesting on each other from two parties. What if I invite him to YSR Congress and ask him to support Jagan who is in the hearts of the people? When we are contesting politically, it is better we speak only about politics and people,” Vanga Geetha commented.
Pawan Kalyan is a popular star and a party president. Obviously, the entire media attention will be on him.
Vanga Geetha is politically experienced but lacks that charisma when compared to Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan commenting something on her will shift the media focus onto her and naturally, her comments will also be carried. That is totally unnecessary.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is all set to tour Pitapuram for the first time after the announcement. He will go there next week and sit with the local leaders right from the village level. He will also meet the local leaders of the Telugu Desam Party.
There are 91,000 Kapu voting in the constituency and also, with TDP’s support, Pawan Kalyan is inching towards the huge majority. Unless there is a complete failure in the campaign.
