Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan shared strong views on Hindu unity on Friday. He expressed his thoughts through a post on X. His remarks quickly drew attention on social media.
Pawan Kalyan said every devotee has the right to protect their dharma. He wrote that Hindus often feel hurt privately when their Gods are spoken about disrespectfully. According to him, many believe those who betray faith will face karma.
He added that such a passive mindset among Hindus needs to change. Despite differences in caste, region, and geography, Pawan Kalyan said all Hindus are one. He stressed the importance of unity to safeguard faith.
Calling for action, he urged Hindus to raise their voice if anyone attempts to hurt their beliefs. Protecting one’s own dharma is essential, he wrote. He clarified that safeguarding Hindu dharma does not mean opposing other dharmas.
Pawan Kalyan has repeatedly described himself as an unapologetic sanatani. After becoming Deputy CM, he visited several temples. During these visits, he spoke about the need for Hindus to unite to protect their faith.
