Pawan Kalyan reacted strongly to the adulterated ghee controversy linked to Tirumala. He spoke during a meeting of Jana Sena leaders. The issue has triggered intense political and public debate.

Pawan Kalyan clarified that wearing Lord Venkateswara’s mala was not a dramatic gesture. He said it was an emotional response to repeated complaints. According to him, concerns about adulterated ghee were raised whenever he and Minister Nadella Manohar visited Tirumala.

He stated that after receiving multiple complaints, he felt deeply disturbed. He wore the Venkateswara mala and took steps to purify the place. The Deputy CM said his actions came from faith and responsibility.

Questioning the pricing, Pawan Kalyan asked how ghee used at Tirumala could be so cheap. He pointed out that even one kilo of sesame oil costs more. He said he could not understand why people failed to see this simple issue.

Addressing political allegations, Pawan Kalyan said he never accused Jagan of being responsible. He questioned whether anyone in their senses would order such adulteration. His remarks were aimed at clearing misunderstandings.

He added that the SIT report had already clarified the issue. According to him, the ghee used was not genuine ghee. Pawan Kalyan appeared visibly emotional while speaking about the matter.

With the Chandrababu government and YSRCP leaders exchanging sharp remarks, the controversy continues. The Tirumala issue remains a sensitive topic. It is also said to be troubling former TTD members.
