Andhra Pradesh politics have always been intense in nature, but there was a certain line of dignity that was followed by all the parties with regard to personal comments. But this line was erased multiple times by YSR Congress leaders as they went after Chandrababu and Pavan Kalyan’s families.
This very attitude that was taken by YCP leaders like Kodali Nani, Perni Nani, Roja and others where they brutally abused Chandrababu and Pavan Kalyan’s families on a consistent basis dragged YCP out of power.
Everyone thought the YCP leadership would learn a lesson from the 2024 election, but that doesn’t appear to be the case now. Even today, Perni Nani sat in front of the Media and used the most objectionable language against Pawan, Lokesh and home minister Anitha.
Reacting to the recent issue where Gudivada Amarnath said no lady would do the business that Anita did in the past before becoming the home Minister, Perni made an even more atrocious comment.
“Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh are coming out to support Anita now, but they have the history of using women to the fullest. In fact, Pawan established his party, just to question on Sugali Preethi’s case and used it to come to power. Now, he and Lokesh are using Anitha fully again. They have the history of using women and are making Anitha a scapegoat by utilising her.” Nani said.
The extreme objectivity and sexualisation of this matter while Nani was speaking in front of the media is to be condemned on all grounds and it is shocking that a former minister had such a tone and attitude about a woman.
