In a key move in the Pinnelli double murder case, accused Pinnelli Venkata Reddy surrendered in court on Monday. He is A8 in the Gundlapadu case. Police took him into custody as per court directions. Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy is also booked in the same murder, which is alleged to have been executed by the Brothers in Palnadu.
The victims, Javisetti Venkateswarlu and Javisetti Koteswara Rao, were TDP workers. They were hacked to death after their bike collided with a Scorpio while returning from a wedding in May. Three days ago, on November 29, the Supreme Court denied anticipatory bail and ordered custodial questioning, stating that anticipatory bail is not valid in murder cases.
Venkata Reddy has pending cases and disappeared after YSRCP lost power in 2024. Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy also remained unavailable to the police. With this surrender, you can expect movement in the investigation of a case that shocked Andhra Pradesh.
