Court Denies Bail for Pinnelli Brothers

Pinnelli Brothers bail plea denied

The TDP government continues its efforts to deliver justice in cases involving YSRCP leaders. The latest setback has come for YSRCP’s Pinnelli Brothers, Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and Pinnelli Venkatarami Reddy, after the High Court dismissed their anticipatory bail plea in the twin murders case.

The case involves the killings of TDP leaders Jivisetti Venkateswara Rao and Jivisetti Koteswara Rao from Gundlapadu, Veldurti mandal, Macherla constituency, Palnadu district. Based on a complaint from their relative Thota Anjaneyulu, police filed a case under Section 302 of the IPC.

Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy has been listed as A6 and Pinnelli Venkatarami Reddy as A7 in the case. Police presented evidence including call records and statements indicating that the brothers discussed the murders in a restaurant. They argued that granting bail would let the accused influence witnesses.

After hearing the matter on August 21, the High Court reserved its decision. On Friday, it dismissed the anticipatory bail petitions filed by the Pinnelli Brothers. Political circles are now speculating that their arrest could happen soon.
