Yogi Adityanath the current CM of Uttar Pradesh and the Hindu priest have had a visit to Mainpur Deenapatti village to inaugurate immunization program for encephalitis. The people of Mushahar community as per the reports have been given a soap, a shampoo and some even were given perfume to spray on and then attend the program.
Congress leaders called it Untouchability and said that the Dalits should lodge a complaint against the Cheif Minister and his officials. One of the villagers said that she uses a soap from the local shop and asked what difference would the soap given by the officials.
