Videos showing AP Deputy Speaker Raghurama Raju making comments about Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan have been circulating online. On Saturday, Raghurama Raju filed a complaint calling the videos false and accusing certain groups of spreading misinformation.
He clarified that he never spoke against Pawan Kalyan. Raju said a few people were deliberately trying to create rifts within Chandrababu Naidu’s government and stir caste tensions through such false content and propaganda.
Raghurama Raju lodged a complaint with the DGP, stating that a strong supporter of YSRCP was behind the fake posts shared on Facebook. He criticised the attempts to vitiate relations among leaders in the ruling government.
Raju said that social media posts were circulating with fake statements attributed to him. He attached screenshots and video links with his complaint and also listed the legal sections under which the culprits should be punished.
He urged the police to investigate the matter thoroughly and identify those responsible. Raghurama Raju demanded strict action against the individuals spreading fabricated content to damage reputations and disturb social harmony.
