Reports are emerging that the Union Cabinet shuffle may be round the corner. It is said that Modi is contemplating to bring in Ram Madhav in to his cabinet who is recently elected to Rajya Sabha. Ram Madhav hails from Andhra Pradesh is currently the General Secretary of the party.

Ram Madhav is a key strategist for BJP and is instrumental in making BJP a part of the coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir. However his addition is unlikely to benefit Andhra Pradesh as Ram Madhav do not see eye to eye with TDP or Chandrababu Naidu for reasons best known to him.
Ram Madhav is against an alliance with TDP before 2014 and is also grooming the anti-TDP and Anti-Naidu groups in the State wing of BJP. Recently when BJP high command proposed TDP to send him to Rajya Sabha from their quota, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu refused it outright. Subrahmaniam Swamy is also likely to be inducted in to Modi’s cabinet.
