The Janasena Party has appointed producer Ram Talluri as its General Secretary. The official announcement stated that he will take charge of the party’s organisational affairs, marking a new role for someone long associated with Pawan Kalyan and Janasena.
Ram Talluri earlier handled the party’s social media wing and was once rumoured to contest in the 2019 elections. Though he never received a ticket, his consistent support for Pawan Kalyan seems to have been recognised with this appointment.
Talluri comes from an IT background and runs several companies, including Fly Zone Entertainment Park in Hyderabad. He is also involved in real estate and film production, though most of his movies like Chuttalabbayi, Disco Raja, and Nela Ticket failed at the box office.
His more recent films, Mechanic Rocky and Matka, also disappointed. He once announced a film with Pawan Kalyan under Surender Reddy’s direction, but that project never took off. This appointment is now seen as Pawan’s reward for Talluri’s loyalty.
Other producers such as Bunny Vas and BVSN Prasad have also been part of Janasena. While BVSN Prasad was made State Secretary but has remained inactive, Bunny Vas occasionally participates in party activities. All eyes are now on Ram Talluri’s performance in his new role.
