Report on AP's Special Package is Ready

Niti Aayog Vice President, Arvind Panagariya and his team had finished a report on Andhra Pradesh’s Special Status and Special Report. The report is now complete and it will be submitted to the Prime Minister anytime before 15th of this month.

It is reliably learnt that Niti Aayog will leave the decision of the Special Status to the Prime Minister. Union Minister Sujana Chowdary will be meeting Arvind Panagariya today in Delhi for the last round of bargaining.

The announcement about the Special Status may arrive in Prime Minister’s AP tour in January next year and some allocations may be incorporated in the Union Budget to be tabled in February. BJP is under severe pressure after Modi announced nothing at Amaravati foundation event.
