
Guntur CID has issued notices to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Devineni Avinash in Mangalagiri TDP office attack case. The police said they collected more proofs in the case.
The case is finally gaining momentum with the CID summoning Devineni Avinash and the then advisor to the government, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. The police has said that it gathered enough evidence to show that Sajjala and Devineni played key roles from behind.

Based on the testimonies of those who are in custody and those questioned, Sajjala has been included as A-120. The YSRCP cadre attacked the Mangalagiri TDP office on October 19, 2021. Though a complaint was lodged, the police didn’t bother to respond back then.
The YSRCP members created enough damage to the property. The police filed a case, but barely anything was done. In turn, SC, ST cases were filed on TDP members.

After coming to power, the alliance government gave the case to CID. The police and CID have come to a conclusion that the attack was planned meticulously and that Sajjala played a key role from behind the scenes.
To gather crucial information, the CID called Sajjala and Devineni for questioning at 11 am on Friday. Both Sajjala and Devineni obliged.
