Vallabhaneni Vamsi got a huge shock as his bail petition has been struck down by CID court.
After Posani Krishna Murali’s bail, there was some hope in Vamsi’s followers and YSRCP leaders that Vallabhaneni Vamsi would be given bail too.
But things turned the other way and Vamsi’s bail plea has been struck down. There was a hearing at CID Court on Thursday. After hearing both sides, the CID Court denied bail to Vamsi.
Along with Vamsi, four others who were accused in the matter were also refused bail.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi has been serving time for attack on the TDP office in Gannavaram in 2023. The Gannavaram ex MLA faced severe criticism for the act and was arrested on February 13, 2025, from his house in Hyderabad.
Vamsi has another major case pending against him – that of exorting, kidnap and assault of TDP office attack witness Satyavardhan. It is known that Satyavardhan had filed a petition asking not to grant bail to Vamsi as he feared for his life.
