YCP was bolstered with the presence of two Ambatis. While one is Ambati Rambabu, the other is cricketer Ambati Rayudu who joined the party last week.
But Ambati Rambabu who joined YCP just a week ago has now announced that he has quit YSRCP.
“This is to inform everyone that I have decided to quit the YSRCP Party and stay out of politics for a little while. Further action will be conveyed in due course of time.” he tweeted a little while back.
It was rumored that Rayudu was promised an MLA ticket in Guntur district as well. But even before anything substantial happened after Rayudu joined the party, he announced that he is quitting the party.
This is leading a narrative on social media that everyone, including the new joined Ambati Rayudu have come to a conclusion that YCP is a sinking ship and that is the reason he is quitting the party just a week after joining the party. His departure certainly leaves a bad image for YCP.
