Knowing about the police probe in advance, several YSRCP leaders are applying for anticipatory bail in the High Court. Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy and former MLA of Mangalagiri RK filed anticipatory bail petitions in the AP High Court regarding the TDP office attack case. The AP High Court is likely to hear the case today.

YSRCP MLC Appireddy and Jogi Ramesh have already filed anticipatory bail petitions. Petitions filed by YSRCP MLC Talashila Raghuram and YSRCP leader Devineni Avinash, seeking anticipatory bail in the attack on the central office, came up for hearing in the High Court on Tuesday.

Responding on behalf of Devineni Avinash, senior advocate L. Ravichander said that a supplementary petition has been filed seeking protection from arrest. An urgent inquiry has been requested. Speaking on behalf of the police, government advocate KM Krishna Reddy said that this is not a small matter as the petitioners are claiming. In 2021, hundreds of people attacked the TDP office at the instigation of the then ruling party.
