A minor technical issue occurred in Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s bus worried every one for some time. Chandrababu was to tour East Godavari district. He landed in Madhurawada Airport, Rajahmundry on a special chopper and from there, he got in to the bus to reach the destination.
However after travelling for some distance, smoke started erupting the bus all of sudden. Chandrababu’s personal security have panicked for a while and immediately changed him to another car.It was later found that the smokes erupted due to a short circuit in the vehicle engine.
Chandrababu’s Security were on their toes after Union Home Ministry and Intelligence Wing reported that there is a possibility of Maoists resorting to surprise attacks on leaders. Chandrababu is on Maoists hit list and way back in 2003, he is even attacked by a land mine in which he escaped by a whisker. He is being provided Z category security from then.
