YSR Congress Party leaders Devineni Avinash and Jogi Ramesh faced a setback in the Supreme Court regarding the 2021 attack on the TDP headquarters.
Avinash and Jogi Ramesh filed a petition at the Supreme Court, seeking anticipatory bail in this case. The Supreme Court Bench, featuring Justice Sudanshu Dhulia and Justice Amanullah heard the petition today.

Upon hearing the petition, the Supreme Court ordered both of them to hand over their passport to the investigation officials within 24 hours. They were also ordered to cooperate with the investigation by appearing for questioning whenever requested by the officials.
The bench clarified that no protection will be provided to Jogi Ramesh and Devineni Avinesh if they fail to cooperate with the officials in the investigation.

Just a few days ago, YCP leader Nandigam Suresh was arrested by police in connection with the same case. Fearing that they will be arrested too, Jogi Ramesh and Devineni Avinash filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Supreme Court.
As the Supreme Court gave a serious blow to their hopes, we can now expect the acceleration of investigation against both these leaders.
