Telugu Desam Party is guaranteed to get three Rajya Sabha seats in the upcoming elections on June 11th. If Naidu decides to give a seat for BJP, they may renominate Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman yet again. The other MoS, Sujana Chowdary is also expecting a renomination. But since there are Loan defaulting allegations and cases on Sujana, renomination is in doubt.

If both of them are confirmed to get the nomination, only one seat will be remained effectively. There are proposals that this seat should go to a SC candidate. Former MLA from Chittoor district, Hema Latha is in race for this seat if that is the criteria. There are also demands that the seat should go to Kapu community.
Given the Kapu agitation issue, Naidu may consider the proposal. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu is said to have backed out of Rajya Sabha race and is recommending Chikkala Rama Chandra Rao in Kapu Quota. TDP also have an outside chance to lay stake on the MP seat YSR Congress is entitled to get.
