Suspended Roja will continue to draw salary!

YSR Congress suspended MLA, Roja’s petition in high court came to hearing today. Additional AG put forth government’s arguments in the case. He informed the court that the Speaker has the right to suspend any member from the house for any period of time according to Article 194 of Indian Constitution.

He brought to the notice of the court that Roja behaved in a manner which is not expected from a member in the house. He also clarified that Roja will continue to draw her salary despite getting suspended from the house. On the other side, Roja’s attorney argued that the suspension is against the natural laws of justice.

He also brought to the notice of the court that Roja was not given suspension copy and also did not follow business rules of the house in deciding the punishment. It is known that Roja is caught on video using some very personal comments on Anitha and disgraceful name calling of the Chief Minister. Finally was awarded one year suspension.
