While so much is at steak, something pretty significant happened in Pithapuram today and it involves local TDP leader SVSN Varma who got removed from the TDP in-charge position. He is no longer the principal chief of Telugu Desam party in Pithapuram.

This originated after Varma got into multiple altercations with local JSP leaders over protocol issues and the need to include CM Chandrababu’s photos in government events here in the constituency. Ultimately, it didn’t end well for Varma as he turned to be the on the receiving end of the consequences.

A few minutes back, Varma spoke with the Telugu Media about his expulsion from the TDP incharge position, and he got very emotional. He stated that the decision to remove him from the position was communicated to him prior and he was aware of what was happening.

But this doesn’t take away the fact that Varma had put his blood and sweat into TDP’s foothold locally and played a crucial role in the victory of JSP. This reflected as Varma painfully left the press conference after one point as he was unable to keep his emotions in check.
