The TDP High Command held a meeting on Tuesday regarding Anantapur Urban politics at NTR Bhavan. The committee was led by TDP state chief Palla Srinivasa Rao and reviewed the situation closely.
Former MLA Prabhakar Chowdhary attended and offered his explanation, while Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad skipped the meeting. The leadership directed him to appear before CM Chandrababu when he is available to discuss the matter further.
After the meeting, Prabhakar Chowdhary told the media that he had sought a personal meeting with Palla Srinivasa Rao. He said he had always acted responsibly during party issues and had no involvement in groups after stepping down from his seat.
He also clarified that he has no interest in contesting in the future. According to him, there is no need to support groupism, but he continues to help people who approach him with their problems.
The TDP leadership, including CM Chandrababu, recently reiterated that there will be zero tolerance for groupism within the party.
