TDP MLA Demands Cabinet Berth from KCR

Telangana Chief Minister and TRS Supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao is keen on emptying TDP in Telangana. We are told that TRS is already in talks with the Two MLAs – Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and Mecha Nageshwar Rao. Mecha announced that he is not going to leave TDP and will not betray the party. But we are told that Sandra is in advance talks with TRS.

He is demanding a Cabinet Berth to join the party. TRS currently has 88 MLAs and the support of Two Independents. At this juncture, KCR does not need MLAs and will be interesting if KCR agrees to Sandra’s demand. TRS just managed to win a Single Seat in Khammam district in the recent elections.

Sandra’s joining may strengthen the party in the district. That is the only criteria if Sandra will be getting the cabinet berth. Interestingly, Sandra is one of the accused in Vote for Note scam. On the other side, Pidamarthi Ravi who lost from Sathupalli on TRS Ticket against Sandra is fuming with these developments.
