Telugu Desam Party is busy finalizing the candidates for the four Lok Sabha constituencies that are left to be announced.
The pending seats that are yet to be announced by the TDP are Anantapur, Vizianagaram, Ongole, and Kadapa Lok Sabha constituencies.
It is most certain that Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy will be given the Ongole ticket. He won the same constituency in 2019, representing the YSR Congress Party. Recently, he jumped into the Telugu Desam Party and he will be representing it in the upcoming elections.
The party’s high command is planning to give the Vizianagaram ticket to a Kapu community member. Kimidi Kalavenkata Rao, Gedela Srinivas, and Meesala Geetha are also in contention for this ticket.
TDP is planning to give the Anantapur ticket to a BC candidate. If not, the ticket may go to JC Diwakar Reddy’s son JC Pavan Reddy.
Coming to the Kadapa seat, TDP is considering Srinivas Reddy’s name. A decision on these four tickets is expected to be taken very soon.
