BJP Losing In SouthThe leadership of the party has already ordered internally that senior leaders along with sitting MPs must contest for the assembly. With this, this development also pushed the senior leaders into trouble. It is reported that many leaders in the BJP feel that it is better not to contest the assembly elections at the present time.

They are of the opinion that if they lose as MLA, it will affect their contest in the MP elections, so it is better to contest directly as an MP. The actions of senior leaders within the state party who have been deeply dissatisfied with the BJP’s leadership for years are now under scrutiny.

There has been widespread speculation on social media that senior party leader Vivek will join the BRS party as early as Monday. As the assembly elections approach, senior leaders are expressing their dissatisfaction with the lack of clarity from the party leadership regarding the party’s agenda while trying to build momentum in the opposition.

It is well-known that senior BJP leaders frequently gather at the residence of former MP Vivek. Former MPs like Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy, Vijayashanthi, Garikapati Mohan Rao, Chada Suresh Reddy, former Minister Vijayarama Rao, and Ravindra Naik are actively participating in these meetings.

Particularly, the shift from previous aggressiveness towards BRS to a softer approach and the failure to arrest Kavitha in the Delhi liquor scam are causing discontent among senior party members.

One senior leader of the party remarked that the perception that BRS and BJP are closely aligned has reached the public, and he believes that the Congress party, which he views as his opponent, is capitalizing on this development to its advantage.
